- New construction of access and installation of 2 lifts in the Frottstadt train station
- Adjustment of stations at Wutha, Mechterstadt and Sattelstadt
- Rehabilitation and rework of 2 bridges in order to increase structural stability
- Revising signal systems and overhead lines
- Replacing the roadbed and track at a length of L = 28.00 km
- Replacing rail tracks and installing 30 new points
- Work continues during regular train traffic
